Pac-man logo visible in Seattle photo from 1946

I just stumbled across this photo from 1946, showing a Seattle street corner. What popped out at me was the logo on "Pac's Restaurant and Delicatessen". The "PAC" font is exactly like the font that would be used 34 years later in the Pac-Man video game:
